Export to CSV
Exporting your Trello data to CSV is a straightforward process with Cross-Board Export. Follow this guide to quickly extract your board data into a CSV file for easy analysis, reporting, and backup.
Step 1: Access Cross-Board Export
Open your Trello board where the Cross-Board Export is installed.
Click on the Cross-Board Export icon located at the top of your board to access the export menu.
Step 2: Select Boards and Workspaces
In the Cross-Board Export interface, select the Trello boards and workspaces you want to export data from. You can choose multiple boards at once, allowing you to consolidate your data easily.
Use the search or filter options to quickly find and select the boards relevant to your needs.
Step 3: Choose CSV Format
In the Export Format section, select CSV as your preferred export format.
You can also preview the export settings to ensure the correct fields are included.
Step 4: Customize Your Export
Select Fields: Choose the standard Trello fields you want to include in your CSV file, such as card titles, descriptions, due dates, labels, and members.
Include Custom Fields: Add any custom fields you’ve set up on your boards to capture personalized data.
Export Checklists: Check the option to include checklists, ensuring task-level details are part of your CSV export.
Step 5: Set Export Options (Optional)
Data Range: Specify a date range to export only relevant data.
Filter by Labels or Members: Filter the export based on specific labels or assigned members to focus on key areas of your project.
Step 6: Start the Export
After configuring your settings, click the Export button to start the export process.
Your CSV file will be generated and made available for download. You will see a confirmation once the export is complete.
Step 7: Download or Receive by Email
You can download the CSV file directly from the Cross-Board Export interface or choose to have it sent to your configured email address for easy access.
