# Installation

Welcome to the **Cross-Board Export** installation guide! Follow these simple steps to get started and begin exporting your Trello data with ease.

**Step 1: Access Trello Power-Ups**

1. Open your Trello board.
2. Click on the **Power-Ups** button located at the top of your board.
3. In the Power-Ups menu, click on **Add Power-Ups** to access the Power-Ups directory.

**Step 2: Find Cross-Board Export**

1. In the Power-Ups directory, use the search bar to type in **Cross-Board Export**.
2. Locate **Cross-Board Export: CSV, JSON, Excel, Google Sheets** from the list of available Power-Ups.

**Step 3: Add MultiBoard Exporter to Your Board**

1. Click the **Add** button next to Cross-Board Export to add it to your board.
2. Once added, the Cross-Board Export icon will appear on your board, indicating that it is now active and ready to use.

**Step 4: Connect Your Account**

1. Click on the **MultiBoard Exporter** icon on your board.
2. You will be prompted to connect your Trello account. Click **Authorize** to grant Cross-Board Export the necessary permissions.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the authorization process.

**Step 5: Configure Export Settings**

1. Once connected, you can configure your export settings based on your needs:
   * **Select Boards and Workspaces**: Choose the boards and workspaces you wish to export data from.
   * **Choose Export Formats**: Select your preferred export format (CSV, JSON, Excel, XLSX, Google Sheets).
   * **Customize Fields**: Select the Trello fields, custom fields, and checklists you wish to include in your export.

**Step 6: Start Exporting Data**

1. Once your settings are configured, click on **Export** to begin exporting your data.
2. Your exported file will be available for download or sent to your configured email address, depending on your settings.

**Step 7: Upgrade Your Plan (Optional)**

If you’re using the Free Plan and need additional features like unlimited exports, additional export formats, or scheduled exports, you can upgrade to the Standard or Premium Plan through the app’s settings.
